My travels-With my family, we have visited over 15 National Parks in America, 22 Texas State Parks, 9 Canadian National and Provincial Parks, as well as many other areas.  I’ve been as far west as Hawaii, as far north as Alaska, as far south as Costa Rica and as far east as St John USVI.  Our lodging has ranged from tents, to RV’s, to a treehouse, to rental homes, condos and cabins, to eco lodges,  and up to 5 star resorts.

Background-Using project management skills from an earlier career of chemical engineering, I began planning vacations for my family.  Being on a budget, loving to explore God’s creation and wanting to provide great family memories on vacation spurred my desire to provide unique trips where less people traveled and for less money. My passion for researching destinations has been shared with others.

What to expect-After a detailed interview process to determine interests, comfort levels, adventure desires, and budget, I will provide coaching to help find the perfect road to travel.  I have extensive knowledge of resources available on the internet for planning as well as my own experience from which to draw.  My desire is to stretch  the vacation experience: by increasing anticipation while planning the trip, incorporating new adventures and traditions during the trip, and ideas about recording the memories after the trip.

My strengths-I’m known for attention to detail, organization, finding ways to save money, and maximizing the adventure experience.  My focus often takes you away from the crowds and lets you explore culture and creation more intimately.
